Overview
St Thomas Anglican Church has offered outreach to our home community of Weston and the Winnipeg area for over 80 years.
We are now asking for your help so we can continue this work.
Our goal, with this fundscrip campaign is to raise $5,000 so we can continue our work within the community of Weston.
Our major projects are Kreative: Kids & Kitchens and our Takeout Meal Program.

Below is a summary of what exactly our outreach programs are all about.
Takeout Meal Program provides a hot healthy meal once a week to anyone who has registered for our program. When we started the program we had just 11 families the first week then as word got out, we have quickly grown to almost 60 who are joining us for dinner each week. Letting us know that a program like ours was greatly needed in the area of Weston. We also provide crafting/activity bags to keep those minds busy. This Program is run by both Kreative Kids and Kreative Kitchens as covid changed everyone's plans so the two programs combined to still offer healthy meals and art activities to those in most need
Kreative: Kids & Kitchens (pre-covid program goals)
Kids (2012) is a free twice a week, art program that runs full-time in school months and then moves to summer programming when school lets out. It is a safe place where families can send their kids to socialize and let them express themselves creatively. A healthy Snack is provided each night and twice a month on alternating Saturdays we hots Game Night and Family Movie night where popcorn and juice are provided.
Kitchens (2020) aims to address and answer two major needs with one act of giving. Starting with a free community meal and provide safe volunteer work experience for youth, youth in care and/or anyone form within the vulnerable sector. This creates the opportunity to experience the joy and purpose of giving while increasing food security.
