St-Luke's youth are travelling to Kenya with ME to WE in July 2021! ME to WE is an organization that empowers youth to raise awareness in their communities around global and local issues that people are facing. After participating in the WE Schools Program for several years, our group was inspired to take action globally! WE Villages has been working in Kenya, India, and Ecuador for many years, helping communities become more sustainable. They are continuously developing according to their 5 Pillar model which ensures that community members have access to: Health Care, Food, Water, Education and Economic Opportunity. ME to WE offers the opportunity for young people to travel to a developing country with the mission to learn about their culture, contribute to a sustainability community project, and leave lasting impact. The cost of the trip to Kenya is $4500 per participant. We appreciate your support in helping us fundraise for this opportunity of a lifetime.
