2408 RCACC Support Committee - Cadet Training Support

Other Ontario

Overview

2408 CFB Borden Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps is proud to offer the cadet program to Borden, Angus, and the surrounding communities of South Simcoe. There is no cost to join the Cadet Corps, and uniforms are provided on loan.

The Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces cover the cost of the core, mandatory, elements of cadet training, including uniforms and a number of field training exercises. Some supporting elements, as well as optional training activities, are the responsibility of the local community, represented by the Corps' Support Committee.

The 2408 RCACC Support Committee is looking to for help in making sure that the Borden Army Cadets continue to offer a successful, dynamic, and engaging program for our youth. Monies raised through this campaign will go to fund such things as additional training opportunities for the cadets, new equipment for the Corps and its teams (Biathlon, Drill, Marksmanship, Orienteering), and morale-building activities (ie: Holiday dinner, end-of-year BBQ, etc).
