YBC hopes, through its efforts and the efforts of countless volunteers, to instill in all children a love for bowling not only as a sport but also as a form of social recreation that they and their families may take part in for the rest of their lives. Bowling in organized youth leagues provides a wonderful opportunity for young people of all ages to learn the values of sportsmanship and fair play. Bowling teaches the A-B-C's of Physical Literacy (Agility, Balance and Co-ordination) and reinforces the values of sportsmanship. Bowling may be played alone, with a friend, with family or in competition with others of like ability... this makes it one of the top participation sports in Canada. The fact that bowling is a sport that everyone can participate in makes bowling the # 1 social recreation in Canada.

Eastview YBC offers access to certified coaching, an awards recognition program, tournaments and events for all levels of ability, from novice to advanced levels. Tournaments range from local fun events to zone, provincial/territorial and national competitions.
