Overview

The Winnipeg Children's Access Agency Inc is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to facilitate contact between children and their parents and/or guardians where there has been evidence of interpersonal violence. We fulfill this mission through supervised visitations and supervised exchanges in a protected, neutral and chilld-focused environment.
Incorporated in 1999, WCAA had its genesis in response to the tragic murder-suicide in 1997 of Rhonda and Roy Lavoie. Desiring to provide a protected, neutral and child-focused place for estranged parents to interact with their child(ren), WCAA was formed being only the second such facility in Canada.
The Winnipeg Children's Access Agency Inc., is affiliated with the Supervised Visitation Network.
