Welcome back to another fun season of Inconnu Swimming. Things are looking quite different for our club in this time of Covid-19, but we are confident this will be a great year of learning and growth for our swimmers.
Our first fundraising campaign of the year will be offered through Fundscrip. Some of you may be familiar with this excellent fundraising program from years past.
For those who have never heard of Fundscrip, it is a fundraising program in which you purchase gift cards to your favourite and most commonly frequented retailers at face value, and a percentage of that purchase is donated to our club. We all buy groceries and gas, and we often purchase gift cards for birthdays and other holidays for family and friends. Purchasing those gift cards from Fundscrip allows you the added bonus of supporting the Inconnu Swim Club.
This fundraising campaign will run in a paper format until midnight on November 12, 2020. Your group rep will be handing out paper order forms along with a cover letter, and you will also have access to an email link should you want to print extras for your friends, family members, and neighbours. Look for an email from your group rep regarding dates, times and places where he or she will be available to hand the necessary information directly to you.
